INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY Iowa Women’s Archive The Iowa Women’s Archive, located at the University of Iowa Main Library, collects papers of women from all walks of life as well as records of their clubs and organizations. Any items that reflect the experience of Iowa women are of interest. The archive defines “ Iowa women” as women who were born or educated in Iowa or resided here for some part of their lives. Papers need not be organized prior to donation. Archives staff members arrange the papers and create a guide to enable researchers to use the collections efficiently. The archive publicizes the availability of collections and actively encourages their use. Students interested in Iowa and women’s history can intern in the archive and help to arrange and organize archival materials.
