Each year Greek Houses, Student Organizations and Residence Hall teams participate in a week long Homecoming Sweepstakes Competition. Sweepstakes events give these groups an opportunity to show-off their Hawkeye Pride and make their name known on campus.
Sweepstakes participants compete all week long and gain points for their participation. At the end of Homecoming week all sweepstakes points are tallied up, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category are announced at the Homecoming Pep Rally on Friday, September 28th shortly after the Parade.
