Physical Education Skills

The Physical Education (PE) Skills Program provides a variety of learning opportunities in lifetime sports, fitness training, and wellness activities.  Instruction is offered at the beginning through intermediate levels and course sizes are small with a focus on skill acquisition.  PE Skills courses meet for approximately 3 hours per week for an 8-week session and carry 1 s.h. of credit.  Courses are graded S/F only (undergraduates) or S/U only (graduate students; no degree credit).


Physical Education Skills Courses

These courses are part of the CLAS Health and Physical Activity General Education Program which addresses personal health risks, examines various structural factors that constrain good health practices, and teaches specific skills as a strategy for enhancing health and well-being.

The PE Skills Program office is located in room E213 Field House.
