SHADOW Curriculum
for
Selves Hidden Amid the Dimness of Our World
The SHADOW curriculum is a voluntary program that recruits black male undergraduates to participate in activities outside of their normal course of study. For each activity a student attends, he will receive a single point. A Hubbard Group administrator will keep these points on a rolling tally, and at the end of each academic year, every participant who has accumulated 10 points will be eligible for a SHADOW Curriculum Leadership Certificate, a limited edition t-shirt with a specially-designed logo, and another grand, yet undisclosed reward.
In order to participate in the SHADOW Curriculum, you must first complete and submit a registration form. Once you have registered, you will be sent a message with instructions about how to determine which campus and city events are eligible for the program. If you have questions about the SHADOW Curriculum, please contact Michael Hill at michael-hill AT uiowa DOT edu.
