Director Robert F. Kirby has a PhD in biopsychology from the University of Virginia. Bob also serves as the Associate Director of the University Honors Program, and he is an Adjunct Associate Professor in Psychology. His interests feature neural control, human behavior, the effects of drugs, and their mechanisms of action. Beyond the University of Iowa, Bob loves to spend his time in the outdoors.

Assistant Director Lindsay Marshall studied for her Master's degree in Applied Medical Anthropology from Oregon State University and for her Bachelors degree in Biological Anthropology from James Madison University in Virginia.  Her research interests focus on various aspects of reproductive health, including women's and maternal-infant health, breastfeeding, midwifery, and out-of-hospital birthing communities.
