Susan Isham, a founding member of the Iowa Intensive English Program, has taught IIEP courses since 1980. She also teaches international graduate students in the Teaching Assistant Preparation in English Program. Her special interests are pronunciation, academic writing, and assessment.

Susan earned her B.A. from the University of Illinois, her M.A. from The University of Iowa, and first taught ESL at the University of Poitiers, France.
