Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Integrative Physiology offers two undergraduate majors; integrative physiology or athletic training. Both paths of study lead to the Bachelor of Science degree. An undergraduate minor in integrative physiology is also available.
Undergraduate students who wish to pursue rigorous study of human physiological systems with career interests in the health professions or biomedical research are encouraged to consider the Integrative Physiology major in the Department of Integrative Physiology. The links below are a general guide and background information for individuals interested our undergraduate programs.

*The Department is increasing the number of students in the Integrative Physiology major.*  Commencing with the fall semester 2008 students
who will have completed the prerequisite requirements for the major by the end of their first year are encouraged to apply for admission to the major after the first semester of the freshman year for entrance at the start of the sophomore year.  Well-qualified juniors and seniors will continue to be accepted.  Applications for entry into the major for the fall semester 2009 will be reviewed in March 2009.
