Law
Professors Janis & Bohannan
Intellectual
property law comprises patent, trademark, and copyright law. In
recent years this aspect of the University of Iowa College of Law
curriculum has developed significantly and has attracted increasing
interest from both students and prospective employers. The formation
of the University of Iowa Intellectual Property Law Society reflects
the growth and vitality of the intellectual property law curriculum
at the University of Iowa College of Law. Professors Janis and Bohannan
are instrumental in leading this field of interest within the law
school community. Our membership includes persons from all years
of law school and our members have a variety of undergraduate/graduate
degrees and job experience. Many prominent lawyers who practice
in this exciting field give presentations on various topics and
caselaw throughout the year.
If you are an Iowa Law
student and have questions regarding how to become involved or would
like to be notified about our next meeting, please e-mail Professor
Janis at (mark-janis@uiowa.edu) or his secretary Kati Jumper at (kati-jumper@uiowa.edu). You can also contact us by mail at:
