If you are interested in volunteering or co-sponsoring Take Back the Night, please contact Molly at the Women's Resource and Action Center. $50 sponsorship includes space for you to bring your own information table and recognition at the rally, $100 sponsorship includes your name listed in the ads, as well as space to bring your own table. Sponsorships must be received by April 11, 2003 to be included in the advertisements.
The Iowa City Radical Cheerleaders, Cornfed Hussies
Since 1998, IWIS has worked with other community organizations on Take Back the Night in Iowa City. The event has occurred in past years at College Green Park during April, Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Community members are invited to attend a rally, march, and speak-out around the topic of violence against women and sexual assault.
