What you see on TV and hear on the radio is but a finished product. But what goes into the making of TV and radio broadcasts?
From brainstorming ideas, to script writing, to framing your shot, to on-air presence, broadcast journalism is an intricate dance of technological and journalistic skill.
Using the state-of-the-art broadcast facilities of Daily Iowan TV, workshop students will produce broadcast pieces and leave Iowa City with a new understanding of broadcast journalism, not to mention broadcast clips to add to their portfolio. Space is limited.
