| Once a year, Kolors adopts the
magic of film to reflect the current state of Korean art and culture. We are now thrilled to celebrate our third film
festival. Not many people in this country know about Korea. Korean culture is as rare in the US as Korean film. This film festival was originally designed to introduce Korea and Korean culture to those who do not have much knowledge of them or are simply misinformed. By holding this event, we have attempted to deliver the correct guidance that would help Americans and people from many different regions and countries enhance their understanding of Korea. Furthermore, we expect this event will assist us in reclaiming our true identity from commercial media and stereotypes. The theme of the 3rd Korean Film Festival is Violent Margin. Throughout the event, we will show five movies from a variety of genres. These selected movies have earned enormous popularity and attention in Korea. Some of them received international awards. We call upon you, our audience, to enjoy this event as much as you can. Bring your friends and share your thoughts with us. We are certain that this unique and sensational event will offer you memorable Moments. This event is neither a beginning nor ending, however it is a continuing process of intercultural exchange that will enrich our understanding of each other.
