Campus Ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America invites people in academic settings more deeply into Jesus Christ and the community that bears his name, so that they can discover and fulfill their vocation as disciples. At the University of Iowa, this mission is rooted in the proclamation of God's Word and celebration of the Sacraments. Believing boldly in God's grace, we engage one another in love and service for the life of the world.
LCM offers worship, learning, spiritual growth, fellowship, and service to the world in Christ’s name. The student center known as Christus House is located at 109 E Market Street (just east of the corner of Clinton and Market). The house is open on a regular basis for students to study, cook a meal, pray, or have conversation with friends and meet our staff, Campus Pastor Robert Dotzel and Campus Minister Pam Larabee-Zierath.
