MARCH 1: Deadline for receipt of all forum proposals and paper abstracts on the informal theme, "Fame/Infamy."

APRIL 15: Suggested deadline for submitting paper abstracts to session organizers (see our Calls for Papers page for more information).

APRIL 26: Deadline for session organizers and chairs to submit Program Information Form and complete session abstracts to the M/MLA office.

JUNE 1: Deadline for convention participants to become 2008 M/MLA members and pay the 2008 convention pre-registration fee. Because of printing deadlines, participants who have not paid the required fees by June 1 will risk being deleted from the convention program. Please make sure your panelists are aware of this deadline and the online membership/pre-registration form (available on our main web page). Membership dues and the convention pre-registration fee are non-refundable. AUGUST 30: For sessions following the traditional discussion format: Deadline for receipt of convention papers in the M/MLA office for duplication and advance distribution to convention registrants. (Paper specifications are posted on the web site.)
