This course is designed for students who already have some elementary stage experience. Scene work with arias and ensembles of Mozart operas will be the main emphasis. The study of roles in individual scenes and larger segments of the operas will focus on the development and presentation of the characters based on the singer/actor’s search for his or her artistic progress, constancy and scenic work as a means of expression to communicate to an audience.
