Arts Campus Flooding: How You Can Help (updated 25-jul-08)

The UI Foundation established a flood relief fund. The first priority for this fund will be to assist students, faculty, and staff who have been displaced by the flooding. The second priority will be to help with reconstruction needs that are not met by other resources such as insurance.

For anyone who would like to contribute specifically to a department that has been impacted, such as the School of Music and Department of Theatre Arts, this is possible. There are two ways to make these gifts: 1) send a check made out to the UI Foundation and indicate in the comment line that the gift is for a specific department's flood relief (i.e. Music-flood relief); 2) make a gift online by going to www.uifoundation.org, clicking on the A-Z search, click on the unit (such as M to get to Music), and then on the department's general gift fund. During the process of making the online gift there will be a comment box. The donor should indicate in the comment box that the gift is for flood relief.

Classes at the School of Music will continue as planned (updated 20-jun-08)

Due to the recent floods on the University of Iowa campus, fall classes that have been displaced will be relocated on and around the UI campus. We are fully committed to offering the planned schedule of classes for the coming year. Further information will be posted as available; students are advised to check ISIS for information on relocated classes.
