You can gain valuable experience and published clips for your portfolio by joining NABJ.

But to do that, you have to get involved!

You can simply contact Vanessa Shelton to see when the next meeting is and be there to volunteer your expertise in any area of publishing NURU or producing The Word.

Or, you can become a paid member of the national organization by visiting the national NABJ Website and paying your dues. Dues for student members is $25 per year and will give you access to a members only section of the national site where you can find resources for scholarships, internships and job openings.

Either way, you will gain experience and clips that will give you the edge over your competition when you enter the job market.
