7. Beaded Vest

Fully beaded vests like this were produced by Meskwaki women in the 1920's copying Sioux models. Pan-Indian images like sunbursts and "swastikas," which are said to represent the four winds often appear. Leather or beaded fringe added to the bottom edge further enhances the Plains buckskin image.
