NCTE-SA Meeting Minutes for
October 17, 2006
1. Our first order of business was book talks:

Michelle dazzled us with her two book talks! We are all
looking forward to reading 24 Girls in 7 Days by Alex Bradley
and Idiot Girls' Action by Laurie Notar.

Our second order of business was redesigning the
bulletin boards:
·
NCTE-SA now has two bulletin boards!
·
The Cognitive Overload bulletin board is just around the corner from
the NCTE-SA office, across from the elevator on the 2nd floor of
Lindquist.
·
The NCTE-SA
bulletin board is down the hall from the NCTE-SA office, across from
room N235 Lindquist.
·
Thank you everyone for your hard work!

Don't forget to register for the NCTE Convention if you haven't
already done so!
·
If you need to miss your office hours, please send out
an email to all members to inform them. Also, if you are able,
please put a sign on the door during the hours that you are missing.
·
Remember to turn in your biographies for the website
to Anah (anah-malamut@uiowa.edu) if you have not already done so.
The next NCTE-SA meeting will be Thursday,
October 26 @ 6:30pm in N222 Lindquist Center. See you then!
