This is the Mighty and Majestic Bald Eagle. I found this Bald Eagle about five miles west of Boone, Iowa. It had been feasting on a deer carcass in the ditch. The Eagle stayed in the area for quite some time. This was my first time seeing one this close that wasn’t behind a cage. I was so impressed by the beauty of the Eagle. The power that was generated from the wings when it flew away to land on the fence post was inspiring. The Eagle looked completely majestic while sitting on the fence post. I think just about everyone throughout Iowa can relate to the Bald Eagle. This was one of my most pleasurable photos that I have taken. I was so excited to get this opportunity to get this close to a wild Bald Eagle.
