If you were to ask me about my family,
I would show you a picture of the three women in my life.
First there’s my oldest daughter, who must have been switched at birth,
because she is way too smart to have come from my gene pool.
Then, there’s my Pokémon obsessed youngest daughter, who has a contagious smile, that she willingly shares with all she meets.
And then there’s my adopted four-legged roommate, Sunny.
When you first meet her, you may think she is just another family dog.
But, you would be very wrong.
Sunny, is as much a part of my family as my daughters are.
She is not only our roommate, she is also our car alarm, home security manager, exercise trainer, walking partner, therapist, seat/bed/lap warmer, baby sitter, car co-pilot, pest eliminator, housekeeper, gardener and our conscience.
She does so much for us and asks so little for her many duties.
Just a family pet?
I don’t think so….
