Eastside "loading dock" entrance from east (rear) parking lot.

Many Obermann Center scholars arrive midday after the parking lots near the main entrance are full. You will find plenty of parking in the rear lot. It is now possible to enter the building between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. through the handicapped entrance on the east side of the building, under the fire escape. When we speak of the "loading dock" we are usually referring to this east entrance.

If you are moving into or out of the Obermann Center you can borrow a cart from Carolyn or Karla, use the elevator and the East Entrance as shown here. You can pull your car up to a free space in the lot (do not park in marked handicapped spaces) for loading and unloading.
