TRAVEL DIRECTIONS

From Minnesota

From Minneapolis area take I-35 south to 27/28 east by Clear Lake, IA. Highway 27 becomes 218 which will take you south through Waterloo. Highway 218 becomes I-380 , taking you to Cedar Rapids and to I-80. Take I 80 east to Iowa City exit 244. Continue with directions from exit 244 below.

From Missouri

From Kansas City area take I-35 north to Des Moines, IA. Connect with I-80 east to Iowa City exit 244. From St. Louis area take highway 61 north to Keokuk, IA. Once in Iowa take 218 north to I-80 east to Iowa City exit 244. Continue with directions from exit 244 below.

From Wisconsin

From Madison area take highway 151 south into Dubuque, IA. Stay on 151 south (avoid route 63) to highway 1 south just past Anamosa. Take 1 south to I-80 and head west to Iowa City exit 244. Continue with directions from exit 244 below.

From Nebraska

Take I-80 east to Iowa City exit 244. Continue direction from exit 244 below.

From Illinois

Take either I-74, I-88, I-80 west to Iowa. At Moline, IL take I-280 or I-80 west to Iowa City exit 244. Continue directions from I-80 to exit 244.

From I-80, exit 244

The University of Iowa campus is in Iowa City at exit 244 on I-80. At the top of exit 244 ramp go 2 miles toward Iowa City. At the second stop light, turn right onto Park Street, cross the Iowa River and turn left into the driveway for Hancher Auditorium/ Levitt Center/Arts Center. At the bottom of the drive turn right and into the parking lot area. Parking is free. The Voxman Music Building is attached to Hancher Auditorium and Clapp Recital Hall.
