Being a good neighbor to the larger community…

In addition to neighborhood involvement, consider being an active participant in your larger community.  Civic engagement is a life-long endeavor that is not limited to a place (neighborhood) or time in your life.  There are many possibilities for engagement with the local community (and beyond) that will not be burdensome to your time schedule or your bank account.  Here is some “nuts and bolts” information that will get you started.
