Chief Complaint: Patient complains of pain and swelling associated with tooth #9.
Medical History: No abnormalities are identified.
Dental History: No abnormalities are identified.
Clinical Findings: A fluctuant compressible soft tissue swelling is associated with the lingual of #9. Probing of the swelling causes discharge of pus. The tooth is nonvital. Periapical radiograph of #9 reveals a circumscribed radiolucent lesion at the apex of the tooth. Fever and lymphadenopathy are not present. |
