Chief Complaint: The patient is concerned about a persistent, progressive, nontender, soft tissue enlargement. The patient is unsure of the duration of the enlargement.
Medical History: No abnormalities are identified.
Dental History: No abnormalities are identified.
Clinical Findings: The lesion is a subepidermal soft tissue enlargement, approximately 2 x 4 cm in diameter, in the area of the right parotid gland. Clear saliva flows from all the major salivary gland ducts. The lesion is firm, nontender, fixed to underlying structures but not to the epidermis. |
