Philharmonia
025:183:002 CHAMBER ORCHESTRA - PHILHARMONIA (0-1 s.h.)
The Philharmonia, designed for undergraduate students, features an expandable instrumentation that allows for a variety of repertoire from Classical to contemporary composers. The Philharmonia presents two or more concerts each semester and is conducted by graduate conducting majors in the studio of Dr. William LaRue Jones.
Auditions for membership are during the first week of
classes each semester (Orchestra winds and percussion are assigned by their
respective studios). Rehearsals are Tuesday
and Thursday, 2:30-3:20 p.m., room 180, Museum of Art.
Changes in registration should be made with the orchestra manager.
