2009 Pre All-State Clinic Download registration formThe University of Iowa Orchestra Department will be holding the 2009 Pre All-State Clinic for orchestral string players on Saturday, October 17th from 9:30 – 2:00 at the newly named Music West Interim Building (formerly The Museum of Art). The clinic is open to any string player currently enrolled in grades 9-12 who is eligible to audition for the Iowa All-State Orchestra. The clinic is designed to give students the opportunity to work with our outstanding University String Faculty, who will coach students through the audition process and provide individual artistic feedback on their solo or etude in a masterclass setting. Additionally, participating students will experience playing this year’s Iowa All-State Orchestra repertoire with members of the University of Iowa Orchestras under the direction of Dr. William LaRue Jones. The registration fee for the clinic is $10.00 (payable to The University of Iowa School of Music) and can be mailed with your registration form or paid upon arrival.
