Carlisle Clovis Cache
The Carlisle Clovis cache dates to the end of the last Ice Age (ca. 11,000 years ago) and represents the oldest (earliest) excavated intact archaeological site in the state.

The Madison County Bridges
Photograph of Imes Bridge in Madison County Day 3 of this year's route will find us riding by one of the famous covered bridges in Madison County. The Imes Covered Bridge, built in 1870, is the oldest bridge of the six still standing in Madison County, all of which are on the National Register of Historic Places.
