John is a Project Archaeologist with the University of Iowa Office of the State Archaeologist, Highway Archaeology Program. He received his M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Kansas in 1992. His research interests include late prehistoric periods of the Central Pains and the early historic settlement of the midwest.
