The Blue Earth Phase is a regional subdivision of the Oneota Tradition which flourished in the Prairie Peninsula and along its northern border from A.D. 1000 to European contact. This report briefly summarizes the Blue Earth Phase as it appears in southern Minnesota and describes archaeological materials from two sites, the Humphrey and Vosburg villages.
