Ways To Submit A Shapefile To The OSA Iowa Site File and GIS

Directory
If you have rights to the OSA Site File submissions directory, place a copy of your shapefile in
L:\OSA\General Services\Site File\Site Records\1 Submissions\B Quadmaps (electronic)\
Keep your original copy for safety. Make sure to properly name the shapefile and include all its constituent parts. DON'T submit a project or graphics; DO fill out the table as completely as possible. Then notify the OSA Site Records Manager, Colleen Eck (by email: colleen-eck@uiowa.edu or by phone: 319-384-0735), of which site numbers are being submitted along with their dates of investigation (for submission validation purposes).

Mail the disk or cd to the Office of the State Archaeologist at the address at right. Also, include a listing of which site numbers are being submitted along with their dates of investigation (for submission validation purposes). Keep your original copy for safety.
