Excel Data Tables

Presently, in-state samples number almost 318 while out of state samples number approximately 230. We created a new count of the lithic samples that compose the collection. Missing samples were replaced from the bulk samples when possible and mislabeled samples were corrected. Whenever necessary, bulk samples were reduced into flaking debris using stone and antler hammers. Revised inventory tables were created using Excel. The first three files in this section present three different way to search for lithic raw material information. The first is a listing of lithic types by geologic system association. The second is an alphabetical listing of types by county. The third is a an alphabetical listing by lithic type name. The fourth file in this section represents the physical contents of the sample drawers housed in the laboratory at OSA. The normal type labels represents samples present in the assemblage while the shadow type labels represent those presently missing. We are working at acquiring those missing samples, processing them, and returning them to their proper drawer.
