Welcome to Team Archaeology on RAGBRAI 2011!

This year will mark the fourth year Team Archaeology has celebrated Iowa Archaeology Month by going on RAGBRAI. The Team plans to complete the full seven-day journey from Glenwood to Davenport. Along the way Team Archaeology will have an outreach booth set up at RAGBRAI EXPO in Glenwood, Lewis, and Homestead to answer you questions about Arhcaeology in Iowa.

Along the RAGBRAI route this year we will be crossing four of Iowa’s scenic byway routes: Loess Hills, Western Skies, Lincoln Highway and Iowa Valley. These represent four of eleven state or nationally designated scenic byways in Iowa. Scenic byways are a great way to experience Iowa’s natural beauty, history, and culture.
