Archaeology On The Road 2013
The Office of the State Archaeologist's very own Kevin "Dogg" Verhulst teaches Jordan
the skillful art of Flint Knapping while at a stop on RAGBRAI 2011.
This year will mark the sixth year Team Archaeology has celebrated Iowa Archaeology by going on RAGBRAI. The Team plans to complete the full seven-day journey from Council Bluffs to Fort Madison to answer your questions about Archaeology in Iowa.
We will have our Outreach booth, booklets, and special give-ways at EXPO--hope to see there! Also, look for us in Fort Madison, home of Iowa's only War of 1812 battlefield and fort.
