Health Professions Loan
Health Professions Loans are available to students enrolled in the College of Dentistry, College of Medicine, and the College of Pharmacy. Students will automatically be considered for the Health Professions Loan if they provide their parents' information on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) even if they are considered a self-supporting student. Parent federal income tax returns must also be submitted to the Office of Student Financial Aid. Funds are limited and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
After a student is awarded a Health Professions Loan, they must complete an electronic Master Promissory Note (MPN) to receive the funds.
Repayment information is available on the University of Iowa Student Loan Accounting Office web site.
