This series features 14 segments (15 min. in length on average) covering issues such as The First Session, The Tutorial Plan, Bridging Cultural Gaps, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities. An excellent resource for beginning and experienced tutors alike, the series is available to all tutors for in-house viewing or an overnight checkout.

A Look At Productive Tutoring Techniques

Another highly regarded video series with eight brief segments covering the role of the tutor in a wide variety of tutoring situations. Each topic is illustrated by interactions of actual tutors and students at North Carolina State University. (For in-office viewing only.)

Also available to tutors is an hour-long video on tutoring students with learning disabilities. Other short videos of interest to tutors are available.
