Troy Moore

Troy serves as NDIL's Tutor Coordinator. His work involves recruiting, hiring, assigning and participating in the training of tutors. He completed his B.S. at Michigan Technological University, his MA at Boston College,.and has a professional background in residence life. Born and raised in Bay City, Michigan, he now lives in the Quad Cities area of Iowa. He comes to Iowa City from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where he spent his recreational time studying the martial art of Tae Kwon Do. He is currently a 3rd degree black belt in the art and serves on the board of directors of American Chung Do Kwan, Ltd. He also gives presentations on subjects including self-defense, the history and culture of the martial arts, and Date/Acquaintance Rape.
