Johnnie SimsJohnnie M. Sims has been the program coordinator with New Dimensions In Learning since 1987. During this time, she has seen the program go from being staffed by part-time employees to full-time staff which has helped to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of NDIL services. She is a graduate of The University of Iowa, earning a Ph.D. in Student Development. She has been an adjunct assistant professor in counselor education and frequently participates in workshops focusing on issues of equity and diversity. Johnnie is married and the mother of two daughters. Her oldest daughter began college in the fall of 1999. She is an avid reader with particular interest most recently in scholarly biographies about people significant in United States history. Johnnie also enjoys collecting unusual picture frames at bargain prices. |
