Getting a Tutor

NDIL provides academic planning counseling, personal advising, workshops, study skill assistance, and tutorials — all designed to enhance the college experience and improve the chances for degree completion by eligible students. Click here to get information on NDIL’s student eligibility criteria.

If you are interested in receiving a tutor, you will need to fill out a Request for Services / Eligibility Screening form. You can click here to download and see or print the Request for Services form (a .pdf file for which you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader). You can hand in the completed form at the NDIL office at 310 Calvin Hall; or you can pick up a copy of the form and complete it at the office.

You will need to schedule an appointment with your Academic Planning Counselor (APC) before a tutor can be assigned. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 335-1416. If you have not used our services before and do not yet have an APC assigned or have forgotten who your APC is, our office staff can assist you.
