APPEALS FAQ

Where is my citation number?
If you have a green and white citation, look for the large number near the top beginning with "06" or "07".

If you have a wide beige citation, look in the uppermost right hand corner for a letter and five numbers.  This type of citation cannot be appealed electronically.  Please write out your appeal and mail it in to the Parking Office along with your copy of the citation.

If you have a square white ticket or a pink envelope, that is a City of Iowa City citation. This is the link for their web site which has an appeal form.  This form is not valid for use in appealing City of Iowa City citations.

Who reviews the appeals?
Faculty/Staff appeals are reviewed by the Faculty/Staff Appeals Committee. Responses are usually sent by mail, unless an email response is specifically requested.
