organization that sends American volunteers around the world for two-year
assignments in education, business, agriculture/environment, health, and

| WHY? | Help those in less-developed countries
by sharing your skills while getting to travel, learn a new language, and have
the international experience of a lifetime! Brochures, applications, and advice are available
on campus now. If you are interested in learning how Peace Corps might fit into your future plans,
email, call, or stop in for more information. The local representative is also available to speak to classes,
clubs, and organizations about Peace Corps
opportunities. |
| WHO? | The University of Iowa representative for
2008-2009 will be Becky Johnson. Becky was a health volunteer in
Madagascar from 2000-2002. ____________________________________________________ |
| WHEN? |
Spring 2008 officer hours will be: Mondays 1:30-3:30 Thursdays 4-6 (Last office hours will be Thursday, May 8.) If these times do not work for you through May 8, please contact us to set-up an appointment at: peacecorps@uiowa.edu or (319)335-6447.
During the summer, please contact: Tammy at TDUVE@peacecorps.gov or #1-612-348-1492. Fall office hours at the University of Iowa will be arranged in August.
We are in the North Lindquist Building, N222 on the corners of Madison and Burlington Street.
