Who is eligible?

        First-year students with a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale at the end of any full-time curricular period are automatically eligible for membership, provided they have carried a normal academic load acceptable toward a bachelor's degree and rank in the upper 20 percent of their class.  Invitations will be sent out during the spring semester.

Is there a membership fee?

        Members pay a one-time fee of $25.  This includes both the national and local fee.

How do you earn honor cords for graduation?

        We implement a point system to determine eligibility for honor cords.  Points are earned by attending meetings and other chapter activities.  Students earning 3+ points will be eligible for honor cords when they graduate.
