Meenakshi
Gigi Durham is Associate Professor of Journalism and
Mass Communication at the University of Iowa. Her research
centers on critical/cultural studies of the media, particularly
from a feminist perspective. She has published extensively on
gender and the media, and is the co-editor (with Douglas M.
Kellner) of the anthology "Media and cultural studies: KeyWorks,"
which will appear in a second edition in 2005.
