WHAT IT IS
Print on demand means you order the exact quantity of printed material
you need, receive the finished order quickly, and reorder when you need more. Because you
print only what you need, when you need it, you reduce waste and storage needs. The UI Copy
Centers can scan, print, bind, archive, store, retrieve, revise, and reprint documents on
demand for you and your students.
SEND FILES ELECTRONICALLY
You can send files over the web, from your work station directly to our server. We have
round-the-clock network connection and cross-platform compatibility, so you may send files
whenever you have them ready and from all platforms - Windows, Mac, HP, or Unix, for example.
You'll just need to load the correct printer driver onto your computer. There is no charge
for this.
WE OFFER FULL SUPPORT
Our IT staff can help you load drivers and correctly set up and send files. The Copy Center
operators are able to scan hard copy, clean up the images, merge the scanned copy with
electronic files, and print everything as a single unit if your document is developed from
multiple sources. They can shift images to add space for binding and shift pages to start
chapters on the right side. Contact the Copy Centers
manager, 384-3809, for more information.
