UI student takes first, three others in top ten
As the price of gasoline goes up, so does the use of pedal - and paddle - power on campus. The kayak above, parked along with bicycles at the Iowa Memorial Union, caught the eye of Parking and Transportation employee LeAnna McGuire. P&T has issued more motorcycle and moped permits this fall, and participation in van pools, car pools, and reduced-rate bus pass programs has increased.
