Mail volume increases

Campus Mail driver Alex Pop, right, returns
to UI Central Mail with a bulk mailing he has
picked up on campus.

Central Mail supervisor Bill Burch says that "In January,
we processed 310,000 pieces of bulk mail, compared to
220,000 in January of 2004. That's a 41 percent increase."

Below, Pop begins to unload a 16,000-piece mailing
that is ready to be processed.
