Offset printing is the method the Printing Department uses to produce publications in large quantities (1,000 pieces is often the determining point for cost effectiveness), are printed on sheets larger than 11x17 inches (we print many items on 23x35-inch paper and cut them down to finished size), use colored ink, require precise color alignment, or require high clarity of images. The department's customer service representatives can tell you whether offset printing is appropriate for a particular order and can arrange for an estimate on request.
