Opportunity at Iowa Ambassadors

The OI Student Ambassadors program is a partnership between currently enrolled University of Iowa students and the Opportunity at Iowa unit. OI Ambassadors use presentation, teamwork, and leadership and informal mentoring skills to assist prospective students and their families in learning more about The University of Iowa.

OI Ambassadors are an important part of our outreach. Here are some ways that you can volunteer as an OI Ambassador:

  • Student Panels
  • OI sponsored luncheons or banquets
  • Campus Tours
  • Phone-calling Team
  • OI folder preparation
  • Overnight student host
  • Student host in the classroom
  • Receptions
  • Diversity related events

If you are a currently enrolled UI student who is interested in talking about the UI and/or your experiences as a UI student, we would like to have you be an ambassador.
