Who We Are
The Public Relations Student Society of America is a nationwide pre-professional organization for students interested in the field of public relations. PRSSA was founded in 1968 by Betsy Plank, a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), to help develop students into public relations professionals by teaching modern PR theories. The organization is divided into three levels: national, district and chapter.
