Carla Keppler

Carla Keppler joined Fleishman-Hillard’s digital research team in January 2010 after completing an internship with the corporate issue and financial communications group. Before joining Fleishman-Hillard, Keppler interned with the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce and the Iowa Bicycle Coalition. She also interned at Gazette Communications in Iowa City, Iowa, as a metro reporter covering breaking news. Along with her committment to The Daily Iowan, Keppler was active in PRSSA as the Finance Director.
Gloria Hurtado

Hurtado, former PRSSA Vice President and 2009 graduate, now works at Edelman in Chicago. After starting as an intern at the company, she was offered a position as Assistant Account Executive in November 2009. Hurtado works on the clients AXE, Nutro (pet food) and Dove. She focuses on getting vendors into the office and building relationships with them. Hurtado finally moved to Chicago in April, 2010.
Tegan Zimmerman

During her four years at Iowa, 2009 graduate Tegan Zimmerman served as both the firm director and chapter president of PRSSA. She now is an assistant account executive at Vivid Ascent, a full service, integrated marketing agency located in downtown Chicago. In addition, Zimmerman is an active member of the Chicago chapter of PRSA for young professionals, the Chicago Search Engine Optimization Meetup Group, and the Integrated Marketing Think Tank.
Jennifer Ferm
Jennifer Ferm is currently focusing on the “got milk?” account at Weber Shandwick in Chicago. Her daily tasks include client and media relations, event planning and execution, and acting as a media spokesperson. She likes the variety of day-to-day duties and the process of event planning from beginning to seeing the details of the event unfold. Her work environment is fast-paced, young and creative, and there is a lot of work in teams, which Ferm enjoys.
Aly Dolan
At Fleishman-Hillard in Chicago, Aly Dolan works with the clients Motorola and ADC Telecommunications. Her responsibilities include managing Motorola’s speaker and awards bureau, pitching to the media and planning media strategy for ADC. She enjoys living by the lake in Chicago and is a White Sox fan.
Yunna Wu
Yunna Wu currently works for Weber Shandwick in Chicago. Her clients include Unilever, Oscar Meyer and Electrolux. Wu’s daily tasks include client recommendations, monitoring and tracking national print, creating and pitching media lists, and assisting in executing events. She also works with online and social media campaigns. Wu enjoys the fun environment of a big agency and in the future hopes to work for Unilever on the client side.
