Greetings, Hawkeye parents!

The spring semester is under way, and although the weather challenges continue—we’ve had rain, fog, sleet, and snow in Iowa City—classes are off to a good start. The campus is bustling with activity, from earthquake relief efforts to the continuing human rights celebration in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.

Plans for Hancher, School of Music move ahead

UI initiative aims to engage students outside class
The University’s Pick One program asks incoming students to identify activities to pursue during their first semester on campus. Students register their choices via a special web site that connects them with organizations and helps the University track trends in student involvement.
